The Trigger is our answer to a common request: can we get an e-rig with a water bubbler and digital screen that really rips!? And the answer is, of course you can!
This C-Core vaporizer packs a ton of power into a relatively compact device. As with all Ooze C-Core devices, the central core of that power is our special azul ceramic that sits at the bottom of the atomizer. This ceramic vaporizes your dab on expert level; it soaks into the dish and spreads out, so your terps can let their flavor fly without the extract pooling and burning.
The Trigger offers multiple voltage levels to dial in your ideal session. We also included not one, but TWO different Onyx Atomizers to fine-tune your preferences even more.
Why Does the Ooze Trigger Have 2 Atomizers?
- It comes down to your personal preference, our team couldn’t decide which one we liked more!
- One atomizer provides more surface area and an open bucket so you can watch your dab vaporize.
- The other atomizer is a deeper bucket with a silicone sleeve + carb cap so you can control your airflow.
When we were developing this device, we started out with just the Trigger Atomizer. This is the tall bucket in the silicone sleeve with a carb cap. Part of our product development process includes trying to break the device and playing around with it to see if it’s compatible with other things we make.
This is where we learned that the Booster’s Onyx Atomizer is also a perfect fit! The airway lines up perfectly, and it provides a different dabbing experience. Our team was split on which atomizer was preferred, and we didn’t feel good about leaving one out.
We decided to trust you, the lovely Ooze dabber, to determine your own dabbing preferences. Your Trigger includes both the Trigger Atomizer and Booster Atomizer. Try a sesh or two out with each design to see which you like better. Then, when it’s time to order a fresh pack, go with your preferred atomizer style!
Benefits of Using the Trigger Atomizer
The Trigger Atomizer is a deep, narrow bucket with a silicone sleeve and connected carb cap. The bucket itself is made of surgical steel with the azul ceramic dish nestled in the very bottom. The airway holes sit up on the walls of the chamber, rather than around the sides of the azul dish.
This airway design means that you end up with WAY less residue seeping down below the bucket! Using the Trigger Atomizer will keep your device cleaner long term and will require fewer intense cleaning sessions. If you’re not someone who enjoys taking the time to take care of their device, this is the atomizer for you!
The carb cap is the other defining feature of this atomizer style. The cap is tethered to the silicone sleeve, so you can’t lose it. Pop it on after you load your dab in and use your finger to cover the hole on top to milk your hit and release the cloud.
Benefits of Using the Booster Onyx Atomizer with the Trigger
The Booster’s Onyx Atomizer is our original C-Core extract design. This black ceramic bucket is shorter and wider than the Trigger version and has no cap on top. The airway holes sit around the sides of the azul dish at the very bottom of the bucket.
This pathway lets more vapor into the airway, creating bigger, more flavorful clouds with each rip. You can see your dab seep into the ceramic before your very eyes. It’s fun to watch it disappear from the bucket as the water chamber fills up with thick, tasty dab smoke.
While this airway provides fuller clouds than you’ll get with the Trigger Atomizer, the Booster atomizer will also require deeper cleaning, and you’ll need to do it more often. Avoid overloading the azul dish and load your dab directly in the center. Keeping it out of the air holes will minimize the amount that gets sucked down below the bucket.
Luckily, our Micro Swabs are the PERFECT size to clean all the nooks and crannies of your Trigger! It expertly removes residue from the threads and is the exact size needed to clear the hole that connects the atomizer thread to the water chamber. Maintenance is definitely a chore, but with the right tools, it doesn’t have to feel like pulling teeth. And then you'll be rewarded with a big ol' tasty, clean dab!
Which Atomizer Should I Use in My Trigger?
Ultimately, only you can answer this question! Screw in one style of atomizer and run a couple dabs through it. Take a mental note of how easy the dab is to load in, how thick the clouds are, and whether you want to see your dab go up in smoke or would rather close it off and control the airflow. Then swap it out for the other style and repeat the process.
If you’re someone who absolutely detests cleaning their rigs, then we’d recommend the Trigger Atomizer. Otherwise, let your personal experience be the deciding factor. You’ve got this!
