Counterfeit vape batteries are worse than regular knockoffs because they can overheat and explode! It's okay to buy a dupe of an expensive designer bag, but NEVER buy a dupe of an Ooze pen or other vape battery.

If you came across this page, you're probably questioning if your vape battery is a real Ooze product or a counterfeit. If you didn’t buy your Ooze vape battery directly from Oozelife.com or from an official Ooze vendor, there are several things you can look for to verify that your Ooze device is legit.

Clues to Determine if Your Ooze Pen is Fake

The light on an authentic Ooze Pen will ALWAYS light up green. If it shows any other color (especially purple, we don't do purple lights), it is a counterfeit.

Authentic Ooze batteries have a professional finish. If the device's finish looks cheap or off, it is probably fake.

Real Twist Slim Pens will always cost around $20. If the price seems too good to be true, trust your instincts!

Authentic Ooze Smart USB Chargers light up red while the device is charging. The battery light will be green during charging.

When your device is fully charged, the charger light will turn green and the battery light will shut off.

Real Ooze Twist Slim Pens have a horizontal line around the center of the flex temp dial on the bottom.

The authentic Ooze Smart USB Charger has grooves along both sides.

Real Ooze Twist Slim batteries have an authentication code right above the temperature dial. Use this code to activate the device's warranty.

Counterfeit Vapes are Dangerous
Counterfeit vape pens and batteries are a major risk to your safety. Every real Ooze battery is made with special safety mechanisms that turn the battery off way before it gets too hot.
The fake devices might look the exact same on the outside, but the internal components are completely different. Not only do they not include the safety mechanisms, but they are often built with super cheap parts, which are more likely to overheat, not charge properly, and in some cases, never turn on at all.
